The trip day by day
Day 1Brussels – Windhoek
Flight from Brussels to Windhoek via a European city or Johannesburg. Night on board.
Day 2Windhoek – Kalahari
Welcome by your guide and drive to the red dunes of the Kalahari. First sunset outing.
Day 3Kalahari – Sesriem
Drive to the Namib Desert. Discover Sesriem Canyon in the late afternoon.
Day 4Sossusvlei and Deadvlei
Climb the dunes at sunrise and walk to Deadvlei with your guide.
Day 5Sesriem – Swakopmund
Crossing the Namib to the ocean, via Solitaire and the Tropic of Capricorn.
Day 6Walvis Bay
Cruise on the Walvis Bay lagoon among seals, dolphins and pelicans. Free afternoon.
Day 7Swakopmund – Damaraland
Drive north via the Brandberg, then check in at a lodge in the heart of the red rocks.
Day 8Twyfelfontein
Twyfelfontein rock engravings and desert elephant tracking with a local guide.
Day 9Damaraland – Etosha
Drive to Etosha and first safari in the late afternoon.
Day 10Safari in Etosha
A full day of safari in the park, from one waterhole to the next.
Day 11Etosha – Windhoek
Drive to Windhoek, last dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 12Windhoek – Brussels
Transfer to the airport and return flight. Arrival in Brussels the same day or the next day, depending on flights.
