Namibia
The highest dunes in the world, the wildlife of Etosha, the Skeleton Coast and unforgettable starry skies. A destination I know from the inside: tailor-made down to the smallest detail.
The land of wide open spaces
With fewer than three million inhabitants for a territory almost three times the size of France, Namibia offers what few countries still can: space and silence.
The red dunes of the Namib, the wildlife of Etosha, encounters with the Himba, the wild Atlantic coast: it is a safe destination, easy to travel around and strikingly beautiful.
Every facet of Namibia
These trips are starting points, to be adapted to your dates, your pace and your budget.
Namibia at your own pace

Small-group safari
The country's highlights with a French-speaking guide, ideal for a first trip to southern Africa.
Exceptional lodges, from the desert to Etosha

The right season, month by month
The dry season, from May to October, is ideal for wildlife: animals gather around the waterholes. Nights are cool from June to August. From November to April, the summer rains turn the country green.
Six regions not to be missed

The highest dunes in the world and the petrified acacias of Deadvlei.
Etosha
One of Africa's finest parks for watching wildlife around the waterholes.
Damaraland
Red rocks, rock engravings and desert elephants.
Swakopmund
A town with a colonial past, between desert and ocean, and the Walvis Bay lagoon.
Kalahari
Red dunes, golden grasses and spectacular sunsets.
Skeleton Coast
A wild coast of shipwrecks and seal colonies.

Your questions about Namibia
Is Namibia a safe country?
It is one of the safest destinations in southern Africa. The usual precautions apply, especially in towns.
Do you need to drive a 4x4?
For a self-drive trip, yes: most roads are gravel tracks in good condition. If you would rather not drive, the small-group safari or the light-aircraft safari is for you.
Can you travel with children?
Yes, many lodges welcome families. Some reserves set a minimum age for safaris: the itinerary takes your children's ages into account.
How many days should you allow?
Twelve to fourteen days let you see the desert, the coast and Etosha without rushing. Distances are long: good timing is important to make the most of your stay.
Who takes care of my trip?
I am your contact from our first conversation until you return home: I advise you, suggest an itinerary and remain available during the trip. Your trip is sold and booked by the Collectif My Way, a travel operator registered with Atout France (IM059190009): it therefore benefits from financial protection and professional insurance.
